About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Lot Porter / Customer Service Specialist to join our dealership team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle inventory, supporting dealership operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing world-class customer service while assisting both sales and service departments.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, porter, valet, or automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily lot checks to ensure vehicles are properly parked, secured, and displayed.
  • Maintain accurate lot inventory and assist with inventory audits.
  • Organize vehicle placement to maximize lot appearance and customer accessibility.
  • Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership property.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentation-ready.
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally.
  • Provide a welcoming, friendly, and helpful experience for all dealership visitors.
  • Pull customer vehicles around for delivery, service pickup, and appointments.
  • Assist customers with questions and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display.
  • Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for sale and delivery.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition following service visits.
  • Shuttle customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or designated locations.
  • Operate dealership vehicles safely and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean and professional shuttle vehicle environment.
  • Assist sales and service teams with daily operational needs.
  • Help maintain dealership grounds, showroom, and service areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
