This role is responsible for orienting and instructing new drivers, assisting the supervisor in assigning and directing work, and communicating with management to ensure the proper flow of vehicles. The specialist will maintain logs of vehicle stock numbers and lot locations, communicate schedules and assignments to crew members, and manage vans and transport drivers. They will ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles, shuttle employees to auxiliary parking lots on sale days, and provide transportation to employees parking vehicles at remote sites. The role also involves picking up and dropping off personnel to/from various locations, performing daily maintenance and routine checks of the van, and demonstrating a commitment to safety. The specialist will work with management to review work volumes, plan staffing levels, monitor departmental performance, and lead the team by example, enforcing company policies and procedures. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
