This role is responsible for conducting inspections of support equipment, leading pre-sale meetings with drivers, and ensuring vehicles are in their assigned lanes for sale. The specialist will identify and address issues such as missing vehicles, inoperable vehicles, and overflow areas. They will also maintain a run list for vehicles with key issues or late entries and respond to customer and dealer inquiries. A key responsibility is coordinating and directing vehicle movement to ensure a continuous flow of traffic to the sale block, as well as overseeing the parking of sold vehicles and re-parking of non-sold vehicles. Additionally, the specialist must report any theft, lot damage, or safety concerns to management.
