This role is responsible for organizing and maintaining the placement of vehicles within a designated zone or move area according to established standards. The specialist will use information from supervisors and lot operations dashboards to make daily decisions regarding vehicle staging. A key aspect of the role involves continuous improvement efforts focused on the safety and efficiency of vehicle movement in and out of their assigned zone. This includes safely moving vehicles to their proper destinations, confirming operability, and coordinating with service and tow teams for inoperable vehicles. The specialist will also be responsible for labeling vehicles with sale and routing information and communicating inventory status and priorities to crew leaders and managers. The role requires setting an example by championing company values, ensuring respectful treatment of all employees, and upholding company policies and procedures. A strong commitment to safety is essential, requiring adherence to all safety and health procedures and modeling safe behaviors.
