This role is responsible for orienting and instructing new drivers, assisting the supervisor in assigning and directing work, and communicating with management to ensure the proper flow of vehicles. The specialist will maintain logs of vehicle stock numbers and locations, communicate schedules and assignments to crew members, and serve as a lane leader on sale days. They will coordinate move requirements with the lot manager and quadrant coordinator, assist in staging and parking lease lanes and pre-sales, and manage vans for transporting drivers. Key duties include ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles, shuttling employees to and from auxiliary parking lots and remote sites on sale days, and performing daily maintenance checks on the van. The role also involves demonstrating a commitment to safety, working with management to review work volumes and monitor staffing levels for efficiency and quality, and leading the team by example while enforcing company policies and procedures. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
