We are looking for a team player to provide quality and efficient maintenance support for all the feedlot steel structures and water systems. This person will be responsible for ensuring safety is a priority for oneself, as well as all employees. Supporting the Adams Land & Cattle Safety Program and exemplifying safety expectations. Maintaining the feedlot's infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment that supports the health, welfare, comfort, and proper containment of cattle. Performing upkeep, including preventive and corrective maintenance of feedlot fences, uprights, neck rails, and bunk cables, as well as facilities (e.g. processing barns, hospitals, feed mill). Maintaining and repairing water tanks and main lines. Welding to complete repairs. Upkeeping grounds (e.g. mowing/weed control). Safely operating equipment, such as skid steer, forklift, tractor, backhoe, mini excavator, etc. Houskeeping/organization or work area(s), equipment, truck(s), and materials used by team. Supporting Machine Shop activities. Supporting project activities as needed.
