About The Position

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, operates over 50 locations in the US, offering vehicle services like repair, reconditioning, and auction remarketing. Our auto auctions, some spanning up to 200 acres, handle a vast inventory of vehicles across North America. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements
  • Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
  • Automotive or auction experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications
  • Ability to comprehend alphanumeric order and motor vehicle traffic signs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions.
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Hardworking, motivated team player who collaborates well with multiple departments and customers.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to follow basic English instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
  • Support efficient lot flow by accurately positioning vehicles to meet operational and sale day needs.
  • Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas.
  • Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
  • Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
  • Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
  • Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
  • Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
