About The Position

The Lot Attendant helps keep the dealership operating smoothly by ensuring vehicle inventory is clean, organized, properly parked, and ready for customers. The role includes cleaning vehicles before customer delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the dealership lot, building, detail area, rental vehicles, and carwash. The attendant also helps prepare for dealership events and maintain a safe, clean lot during winter. This position may be full-time or part-time. Desired full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; desired part-time hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hours may be flexible as long as dealership needs are met.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• At least 50% of the job requires sight and at least 50% requires hearing.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and quality work that contributes to dealership productivity.
• Clean the inside and outside of vehicles before sales delivery to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable dealership lot, with vehicles properly lined up and no open spaces.
• Clean vehicles on the lot and in the showroom as needed.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the lot and building.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area.
• Help maintain cleanliness of rental vehicles.
• Help prepare for dealership events as directed by management.
• Help maintain the dealership carwash.
• Help keep the lot safe and clean during winter.
• Check vehicles for visible damage and report concerns to the sales or service department.
• Follow direct instructions from management and dealership safety procedures, and handle vehicles responsibly.
