About The Position

Enterprise Mobility, operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands, is seeking a responsible and dedicated Lot Attendant for its Linden location. This role involves moving vehicles between rental facilities and the inventory lot, managing registrations and plates, and potentially leading the delivery of vehicles and customers. The position emphasizes providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. It is a non-CDL, local driving position that offers the opportunity to drive multiple new model cars. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions and is a privately held company with a significant global presence.

Requirements

  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location.
  • Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • New Jersey DMV Requirements: First-time drivers and under 21 years old: If you are a first-time driver and under age 21, you must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements. New Jersey's GDL program introduces driving privileges gradually to first-time drivers and individuals under the age of 21.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects deletes for damage in accordance with company guidelines using the damage evaluator tool.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are accurately tracked.
  • Organizing teams so that assigned runs to be as efficient as possible and completed as assigned.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are accurately tracked and signed for.
  • Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.
  • Responsible for vehicle inventory (requires ability to work outside in various elements for extended periods of time).
  • Lot Organization- in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and organize key of security measure.
  • May act as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to include shuttling cars and gathering data from internal computer system.
