About The Position

Diehl of Moon is hiring a dependable, energetic, and hardworking Lot Attendant / Automotive Porter to support its automotive dealership in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. The role helps keep the dealership organized, clean, and ready for customers by moving and parking vehicles, maintaining inventory and display areas, and assisting sales and service teams. Previous dealership experience is helpful but not required; training is available for a reliable candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

The position involves driving a variety of vehicles, preparing them for test drives and deliveries, checking their cleanliness and presentation, and supporting vehicle transfers and pickups. The employee will also help maintain exterior areas, including removing snow and ice from vehicles during winter weather, and will follow dealership safety procedures while assisting customers and coworkers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Lot Attendant, Automotive Porter, Dealership Porter, Vehicle Porter, Car Washer, Detailer, Valet, Automotive Lot Technician, or Dealership Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Move and park new and pre-owned vehicles throughout the dealership lot.
• Organize vehicle inventory, dealership lots, and vehicle display areas.
• Retrieve vehicles for customers and dealership personnel.
• Assist the sales and service departments with vehicle movement.
• Prepare vehicles for customer test drives and deliveries.
• Check vehicles for cleanliness and presentation.
• Fuel vehicles as needed.
• Help remove snow and ice from vehicles during winter weather.
• Maintain cleanliness around the dealership lot and exterior areas.
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations when necessary.
• Assist with dealer trades and vehicle pickups as assigned.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report visible damage or concerns.
• Help ensure vehicles are properly parked, secured, and accounted for.
• Follow dealership safety procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and coworkers.
• Perform additional dealership support duties as needed.
