About The Position

This role is for a 2nd shift Loss Prevention Officer. The officer will control access to the building for employees, vendors, and contractors. They will conduct safety, hazard, and security audits by walking the exterior of the facility. The position involves monitoring and working in the hazardous materials storeroom, including cleaning spills and moving hazardous materials. The officer will also conduct general investigations, inventory counts, and cycle counts throughout the facility. This role requires the use of computers and office equipment, reading Standard Operating Procedures, hearing alarms and phones, and monitoring CCTV. Additionally, the officer will provide training to other employees, perform clerical duties, assist with winter snow removal and salting, and perform housekeeping duties to maintain clean work areas and floors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
  • Experience with CCTV preferred.
  • Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training.

Responsibilities

  • Controls Access to employees, vendors and contractors entering and exiting the building.
  • Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
  • Continually monitors and works the hazard materials storeroom.
  • Cleans spills, disposes of and moves hazardous materials throughout the facility.
  • Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations, inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Use computers and office equipment.
  • Must read Standard Operating Procedures, hear fire/security alarms and phones, and be able to monitor CCTV's.
  • Provides trainings to other employees.
  • Perform clerical duties regularly.
  • Help with winter snow removal and salt for ice.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.
