About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Loss Prevention Group Leader to join our distribution center team in Fort Worth. Shifts for the Group Leader positions: 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am. The Loss Prevention Group Leader coordinates activities as directed by the Supervisor of a group of associates in a designated area in order to maximize productivity. They train new associates on department procedures & job duties, retrain associates on methods & procedures, and monitor associates, identifying and correcting errors as needed. This role maintains accurate & efficient department operating procedures, adherence to safety & processing standards, and reports all discrepancies to the Supervisor in a timely manner. The Group Leader communicates with other department supervisors, leads & own team members, handles and responds to minor issues dealing with process & operational procedures, and resolves operational problems. They also read, understand & interpret reports, coordinate paperwork, and maintain a safe & clean work environment. Additionally, they perform all functions of the department to accomplish tasks and may be assigned other duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in distribution center/retail
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
  • WMS-Manhattan & PMMS
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.
