In this role, you’ll help customers who are going through financial challenges by guiding them through the first steps of the loss mitigation process. You’ll be a key part of the team, making sure everything starts off smoothly and efficiently while providing a supportive and positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Review and collect important documents from customers, such as financial information and applications
  • Request and gather supporting documentation to create complete loan workout packages within required timeframes
  • Help determine if customers may qualify for loss mitigation programs and ensure applications are complete
  • Enter and upload documents into internal systems to keep files organized and accessible
  • Follow up on missing information to keep the review process moving on time
  • Carefully review files to ensure they meet company guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and documentation
  • Provide friendly, responsive, and professional service to customers
  • Answer questions, address concerns, and guide customers through the process step by step
  • Share clear and accurate information and follow up on any outstanding needs
  • Work closely with the Loss Mitigation team to ensure a smooth and efficient process
  • Support team members and help keep daily operations running effectively
  • Assist with administrative tasks like mailings and front desk support when needed
  • Communicate updates and escalate issues to management when necessary
  • Ensure all work follows investor, insurer, and regulatory guidelines
  • Help protect customers by ensuring foreclosure activity is paused while they’re being reviewed for options
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and suggest improvements to processes or systems
  • Participate in projects and activities that help improve team performance
  • Follow company information security policies and keep internal tracking updated
