The Long-Term Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning during an extended teacher absence. The substitute assumes the responsibilities of the regular classroom teacher, including lesson planning (as appropriate), instruction, classroom management, assessment, and communication with school staff. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators, the Long-Term Substitute Teacher supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students while fostering a positive learning environment consistent with the mission and values of Catholic education.
