About The Position

This is a six-week long-term substitute assignment for Chemistry teaching AP Chemistry and Honors Chemistry (0.75 FTE). Substitute Teachers at New Trier High School provide an environment conducive to a positive learning experience, are able to use technology to enhance instruction, possess exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and distinctly with staff and students. They are able to move about frequently in the classroom and in various other parts of the school and follow the policies and procedures outlined in the "New Trier Substitute Teacher Handbook."

Requirements

• Valid Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License or Substitute License registered in North Cook Intermediate Service Center, Region 05.
• Must attend mandatory training and complete required online training prior to being placed in a classroom.
