Long Term Substitute- Student Assistance Coordinator
About The Position
Long-Term Substitute position available 10/28/26 - 5/14/27. Must be certified as a Student Assistance Coordinator, Substance Abuse Coordinator, or School Counselor. Student Assistance Coordinator must possess leadership ability, a thorough knowledge of alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention and rehabilitation, a thorough knowledge of student assistance counseling, and the ability to effectively and cooperatively work with teaching staff members, students, parents, other district and local assistance program representatives and administration. Responsibilities also include serving as the High School's Anti-Bullying Specialist.
Requirements
- Certified as a Student Assistance Coordinator, Substance Abuse Coordinator, or School Counselor
- Possess leadership ability
- Thorough knowledge of alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention and rehabilitation
- Thorough knowledge of student assistance counseling
- Ability to effectively and cooperatively work with teaching staff members, students, parents, other district and local assistance program representatives and administration
