About The Position

Crystal Lake South High School and Cary-Grove High School, within Community High School District 155, has an opening for a Long-Term Substitute English Teacher from approximately mid-November 2026 through December 2026. This position involves teaching 2 periods at Crystal Lake South in the morning, then traveling to Cary-Grove to finish the day. In District 155, our mission is to help all students and staff "Enter with Promise. Leave with Purpose." Requirements

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with English endorsement
