About The Position

We are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Early Childhood Educator to provide leave coverage in our EC program, PK3 classroom, from March to the end of the school year (Late May/ Early June). The ideal candidate will bring strong early childhood teaching experience, a passion for working with young children, and an ability to maintain a warm, developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Prior experience teaching or working with elementary-aged students, preferably in grades 2–4.
Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to step into an established classroom community and provide consistent instruction and support for the duration of the assignment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively with parents and/or employees of an organization.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Nice To Haves

Degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
