About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for a 1st Grade Teacher, expected to begin in late August 2026 and conclude in late November 2026. The role involves the instruction and supervision of students, requiring knowledge of classroom management and the ability to serve as a role model. The substitute teacher will utilize and understand formative assessment techniques. Additionally, the position may involve participation in after-school and extracurricular activities, maintaining accurate classroom records, attending professional development workshops, and collaborating with team members. Attendance at Fall Parent/Teacher conferences is also required.

Requirements

• Michigan Certification and Endorsements for appropriate grade levels
• Must meet all of the NCLB qualifications
