About The Position
The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Long-term Sub for English Language Learner (ELL) Tutor at Fairview High School/Middle School, up to 6 hours per day (student days), for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure
- Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards and project-based personalized learning
- Well versed in evidence-based strategies
Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to ELL students grades 6-12
- Collaborate with ELL teacher, grade-level teams, classroom teachers and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions
- Assist students in digital learning platform and current technology
- Coach one-on-one and in small groups to assist students with classroom assignments including vocabulary building and conversational confidence
- Develop and administer remediation programming
- Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and effectiveness and intervention strategies
