About The Position

This role involves supporting classroom instruction and routines for multiple age groups, from infants to school-aged children. The substitute will encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning. Key duties include assisting with instructional activities, supervision, meal and snack times, and transitions. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting in line with school expectations. Collaboration with teaching teams, adherence to lesson plans and schedules, and building positive relationships with children, families, and staff are essential. Professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to assist where needed are highly valued.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work full-time
  • Beginning November 16, 2026. Position ends on March 5, 2027.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have an awarded High School Diploma or GED.
  • Awarded PDIS Level 2 or higher
  • 6 months previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare program.
  • Ability to adapt to different age groups, teaching styles, and classroom needs
  • Strong communication, reliability, and a warm, caring presence
  • Authorization to work in the United States
