Requirements

Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to take instructions and work independently, as well as in a team setting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Analytical skills and critical thinking.
Strong mathematical/statistical/machine learning background.
Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language.
Understanding of financial market concepts, fixed-income analytics, mortgage valuation, stress testing, and credit risk.
Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Financial Engineering/Mathematical Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative disciplines.
Ability to work at least one day per week from the office while working part-time, and ability to work at least three days per week from the office while working full-time.
Must be located in or around the Indianapolis area OR be willing to relocate to adhere to our Hybrid Workforce Model.

Responsibilities

Assist with model validations and performance monitoring for asset-liability management, derivative pricing, mortgage prepayment, credit risk, and stress testing models
Assist with the development of benchmarking models, including ML/AI models.
Perform data ETL, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
Conduct research on modeling topics.
Other duties as assigned.
