Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN
About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Wildflower Court team. This is a PRN (as needed) position. Pay Information: Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined by applicable Rules or Union Contract Terms. External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined by relevant experience. RN 1 starts at $43.78 per hour, RN 2 starts at $46.51 per hour, and RN 3 starts at $48.84 per hour. In lieu of fringe benefits, PRN employees receive an hourly differential between 10% and 25% depending on position level. Job Summary: RN 1: Provides basic nursing care in predictable situations to a limited number of patients under direct supervision. This level is for new graduates or nurses returning to practice after a prolonged absence. Practice is guided by established rules, competencies, and organizational policies. This is the entry-level of the Registered Nursing classification series. RN 2: Independently plans and implements nursing care using standards and knowledge gained through education and experience. Requires minimal supervision and begins assuming leadership responsibilities. RN 3: Independently plans and implements nursing care using standards and knowledge gained through education and experience. Requires little-to-no supervision and assumes leadership responsibilities. RN3’s have mastered varied competencies of clinical nursing and maintain competency in at least one (1) primary float area.
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Nursing License
- RN 1: None
- RN 2: One (1) year of current experience in nursing care
- RN 3: Three (3) years of current experience in nursing care
- All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
