About The Position
This role involves assisting pharmacy staff in filling prescriptions within a long-term care setting. The Associate works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, following standard procedures to complete assigned tasks and provide quality customer service.
Requirements
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont Employees Only)
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician (New Hampshire Employees Only)
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio Employees Only)
Nice To Haves
- AS Degree or Higher
- Hospital or retail pharmacy experience
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service to all customers
- Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders
- Restock workstation filling supplies
- Print delivery manifest
- Scan medications to proper bins
- Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
