About The Position
Ascension Seton is looking for a PRN APRN or PA for our Ascension Seton Health Clinics. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients in their community. This role is part of the Post-Acute and Long Term Care Program and involves nursing home visits in the rural community across 2-3 sites. Travel is required for this outpatient practice setting with a shared patient panel. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
Nice To Haves
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead Comprehensive Care Delivery: Direct the treatment and long-term management of diverse health conditions, ensuring every patient receives a personalized and effective care plan.
- Empower Patients and Families: Translate medical jargon into actionable guidance, educating caregivers on treatment options and community resources to improve health literacy.
