Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Completion of 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course with current Nebraska certification required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of 40-hour Medication Aide Course with current certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a caring, respectful approach
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, hair care, oral hygiene, and other daily needs
- Assist with safe repositioning, transfers, and ambulation
- Monitor residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being—reporting changes to the Charge Nurse
- Keep accurate records of care and observations
- Help launder personal items and keep residents’ belongings fresh and clean
