Reporting to the Long Range Plan Department Supervisors and Managers, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual. You will play an integral part in Lake Louise Ski Resort’s commitment to its growth of sustainable recreation by supporting numerous projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, excited to work on a wide variety of projects, have an excellent level of fitness, and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Project Labour work includes, but is not limited to: hand digging, rock lining ditches, maintaining waterbars, carrying required project supplies to and from sites, working around machinery, landscaping, and general construction work. Team members will work alongside LRP Supervisors and contractors, as well as collaborate with staff from other LLSR Departments to achieve project-related goals. You may additionally be tasked to assist other LLSR Departments with their objectives, periodically. Many of the tasks take place on steep slopes within the Lake Louise Ski Area and on its surrounding slopes. A strong level of fitness, in addition to confidence and enthusiasm for off-trail hiking, is recommended to all applicants for this position.
