About The Position

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a 4-axle truck driver for their AIM Éco-center in Saint-Augustin-De-Desmaures. This role involves completing long-distance trips in the Toronto - Gaspésie regions, operating a 4-axle truck with various trailer types (dump trailers, bins, and scrap trailers), and ensuring compliance with the Highway Safety Code. The driver will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining equipment, and keeping logs up to date.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license with a good driving record
At least 2 years of experience
Conscientious about Health and Safety
Excellent physical condition
Strong customer service skills
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Demonstrate good care and respect for equipment and tools

Responsibilities

Completing long-distance trips in the Toronto - Gaspésie regions
Safely operating a 4-axle truck
Using different types of trailers such as dump trailers, bins, and scrap trailers
Complying with the Highway Safety Code and other applicable regulations
Providing excellent customer service
Keeping equipment clean and in good working condition
Maintaining various logs up to date
