LOMS Boys Soccer Assistant Coach
About The Position
Sponsor in various school extra-curricular programs. This role involves promoting extra-curricular programs in the schools and community, planning the assigned extra-curricular program, and organizing and supervising practices and meetings. The coach will teach individual fundamental skills of the extra-curricular activity, check participant eligibility (including insurance coverage and parent consent), and serve as a positive role model providing students with emotional support, patience, a friendly attitude, and general guidance. Responsibilities also include recommending equipment and supply purchases for participant health and safety, maintaining a professional appearance and regular attendance, adhering to the Professional Code of Ethics, and following all McCracken County Public Schools Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or a minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion a criminal records check.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR.
