About The Position
The LOMS Assistant Girls Soccer Coach is responsible for sponsoring various school extra-curricular programs. This role involves promoting extra-curricular activities, planning and organizing practices, teaching fundamental skills, and ensuring participant eligibility. The coach will also serve as a role model, provide guidance, and recommend necessary equipment and supplies, while adhering to school policies and professional ethics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate or a minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion a criminal records check.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR.
Responsibilities
- Promote extra-curricular programs in the schools and community.
- Plan the assigned extra-curricular program.
- Organize and supervise practices and meetings.
- Teach individual fundamental skills of the extra-curricular activity.
- Check eligibility of participants, including insurance coverage and parent consent.
- Provide students a proper role model, emotional support, patience, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
- Recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies as appropriate for the health, safety, and welfare of participants.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Adhere to the Professional Code of Ethics.
- Follow all McCracken County Public Schools Policies and Procedures.
