HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and mission‑driven Mission Operations Lead to oversee the execution of complex, globally dispersed technical operations across Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government programs. This senior‑level role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, subcontractor governance, and process optimization across a portfolio of high‑visibility mission capabilities. This position is primarily remote with up to 35-40% of travel to customer sites, operational locations, and executive‑level reviews. The Mission Operations Lead will leverage deep operational expertise, strong leadership presence, and proven program management skills to ensure mission success across a multibillion‑dollar task order. Responsibilities include leading subcontractor performance, managing technology fielding and sustainment activities, driving operational alignment with mission needs, and proactively mitigating global supply chain and mission risks. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience operating within complex, multi-domain, multi‑tenant environments and will be fully capable of representing HII in front of senior government leadership and mission partners.
