About The Position

RQ Construction is seeking a full-time Logistics Yard Associate in the Jacksonville, FL area to join their dynamic team. This entry-level position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks at their Logistics Facility in support of the RQ Logistics Yard. The role involves receiving, inspecting, tracking, and documenting materials and equipment, as well as performing tasks that involve physical labor at a warehouse site. The associate may also assist other craft workers with duties such as strapping loads, housekeeping, and fabricating pallets. Training and certification for operating machinery like forklifts can be provided. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including client needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective safety and security operations for the protection of people.
Ability to apply significant physical effort to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects as needed.
Able to consistently engage core muscles (abdominal and lower back) to support part of the body over extended periods without fatigue or muscle failure.
Ability to listen and communicate information through spoken and written words so that others will understand.
Demonstrates an attention to detail to ensure the thorough completion of work tasks.
Demonstrates trustworthiness in all aspects of position and seeks to build trust between all team members.
Demonstrates consistent commitment to RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
A forklift certification preferred.
