As a Logistics & Transportation Intern at United Launch Alliance you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to: Assist Senior Level Logistic and Transportation professionals: Interpret Master Program Schedule and collaborates daily with Prod Ops for preparation of critical moves. Utilize tracking tool to identify, locate, schedule Ground Support Equipment movements across enterprise. Communicate and collaborate with transportation scheduler to ensure internal and external moves are enacted on. Support logistics of Solid Rocket Boosters movement into and out of storage. Support teams that perform internal moves, lifts to GSE, execute external/supplier or site to site moves, and maintain contracts for trucking, lifts, and other moves. Support one or more experienced business professionals in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side of the aerospace industry. Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns!
