This role focuses on logistics controlling and cost management, transportation execution, audit, and coordination, compliance and documentation, and operational support and continuous improvement. The analyst will lead logistics budget planning, forecasting, and month-end closing activities, analyze freight costs, perform variance analysis, and identify corrective actions. They will partner with management on cost reduction initiatives, serve as the interface between Logistics and Controlling, and support business plan processes. The role involves developing and maintaining reporting tools and KPIs, reviewing and auditing freight activity, coordinating special freight requests, and acting as the plant's main contact for transportation topics. Additionally, the analyst will ensure clear communication between departments, carriers, and logistics partners, serve as the primary plant contact for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and central logistics teams, and host LSP visits. Support for export documentation, customs compliance (CTPAT), and maintaining transportation work instructions are also key responsibilities. The role includes monitoring and resolving unidentified freight issues, maintaining transportation records, and identifying and implementing process improvements.
