About The Position

This is an active position where you'll be on your feet, using your hands, and working as part of a team every day. Most likely, we will bring you on with a temp service for the first 3 months. If you enjoy working with your hands, staying busy, and being part of a team that keeps operations moving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for dependable individuals to build custom shipping crates and boxes for Caterpillar equipment while helping keep the work area organized and running smoothly. No two nights are the same, and you'll finish each shift knowing you accomplished something tangible.

Requirements

Dependable and shows up ready to work
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Able to lift, bend, stand, and stay active throughout the shift
Detail-oriented and safety-focused
A team player with a positive attitude
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, or woodworking is a plus

Responsibilities

Taking out trash and compacting it
Snow shoveling, driving a snow plow, keeping the sidewalks clean, putting down salt
Building custom wooden boxes and crates using hand and power tools
Measuring and cutting materials for shipping containers
Preparing equipment and parts for shipment
Cleaning up scrap materials and maintaining an organized work area
Working safely alongside a supportive team
Using basic computer systems to record work as needed
