About The Position

The Logistics Team Member handles incoming freight, including unloading freight, breaking down pallets, unpacking totes, and stocking a variety of items across departments. The role is fast-paced and physical, and includes providing friendly, efficient customer service. The work takes place in a warehouse environment that may involve temperature fluctuations, noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces. The position requires a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to be certified to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Split, sort, stage, and stock incoming freight to the sales floor.
• Move prepared freight to the sales floor in an organized, safe, and efficient manner.
• Ensure products are stocked accurately and timely.
• Return warehouse carts and restore work areas to organizational and cleanliness standards by the end of the shift.
• Clean shelves, product displays, counters, and workspaces as needed.
• Assist in maintaining merchandise presentation, pricing, and accurate inventory levels.
• Follow safety and cleanliness guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness requirements, and quality standards.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
