About The Position

The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. The Logistics Systems Integration Lead implements projects across a team of global transportation professionals, internal and external technology providers, and process partners delivering effective end to end solutions to maximize the efficiency of the International Transportation Parts & Components network.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience with transportation of materials and goods to/from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and customers.
Progressively responsible experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics.
Experience leading the design, prototype, and configuration of processes and solutions.
Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
Ability to build consensus across multiple functional areas.
Experience with Blue Yonder TMS.
Experience with e2open GLO.
Strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, EDI/API, and Power BI.
Six Sigma or Lean experience.

Responsibilities

Establish transportation best practices and solutions for multi-modal, multi-leg end to end solutions.
Apply process improvement tools and assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive solutions.
Coordinate with transportation and operations functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvements.
Evaluate logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concerns.
Become a trusted solution subject matter expertise across BY TMS, e2open GLO, Data, Reporting, Nexus as part of the international transportation global solution.
