About The Position

The Logistician I I I supports a government agency by integrating logistics processes in operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments. Responsibilities include directing the logistics process, developing support policies and procedures, and providing implementation guidance. Prepares and enforces directives for effective logistics support and ensure proper training and equipment for the workforce. Manages all logistics actions related to the life cycle management of network systems, subsystems, and equipment. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to five (4-5) years relevant experience in integrated logistics support, or equivalent combination of education/experience

Responsibilities

  • Directing the logistics process
  • Developing support policies and procedures
  • Providing implementation guidance
  • Preparing and enforcing directives for effective logistics support
  • Ensuring proper training and equipment for the workforce
  • Managing all logistics actions related to the life cycle management of network systems, subsystems, and equipment
  • Drafting and maintaining Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and Supportability Strategies for all virtual training devices
  • Coordinating New Equipment Training (NET) and Materiel Fielding for virtual trainers at Army installations
  • Managing property accountability for specialized VR headsets, haptic suits, and high-end processing units
  • Reviewing and managing technical manuals, IUID verification reports, and software repositories to ensure data rights are preserved for competitive future sustainment
  • Collaborating with the G8/Budget team to develop Total Ownership Cost (TOC) estimates for cloud-hosting and hardware refreshment cycles
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
