About The Position

PQC is seeking experienced, civilian Logistics Support Specialists to work alongside the federal government at CENSECFOR HQ in Virginia Beach, Virginia. PQC values its employees and focuses on growth and exceeding customer expectations. The company supports the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) training mission. Logistics Support Specialists are stationed at CENSECFOR field activities, providing essential logistical support and ensuring compliance with CENSECFOR and higher authority guidelines. They collaborate with military and civilian logistics personnel at their location, as well as administrative, logistic, and managerial staff at CENSECFOR Headquarters.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
  • Four (4) years of logistical experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a Navy or Marine Corps environment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a Favorable Tier 3 Background Investigation

Responsibilities

  • Track and oversee the supply order process from initiation through delivery, ensuring prompt vendor payment and updating the outstanding requisition log with current supply status.
  • Manage and update FEDMALL and ONE TOUCH SUPPLY SYSTEM.
  • Maintain supply requisition files and ensure smooth supply procurement cycles through data transmission, telephone, or other available means.
  • Manage MILSTRIP ordering, including issuing gear, maintaining a log, and using temporary receipts (DD Form 1348) when originals are unavailable.
  • Manage the Activity’s Navy property system program (Defense Property and Accounting System - DPAS), maintaining records for minor and plant property, resolving discrepancies, and improving reporting processes.
  • Oversee the utilization and/or proper disposal of property.
  • Track and oversee the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) process, including submitting turn-in documentation, scheduling runs, maintaining a tracking system, and updating inventories.
  • Assist with annual property inventories, address problems, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare requisitions for stock acquisition, track usage data, and replenish stock to maintain prescribed levels while avoiding waste and misuse.
  • Ensure procurement and stock inventory procedures comply with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compliance, including Authorized Use List (AUL) maintenance and Hazardous Waste Minimization (HAZMIN).
  • Process orders through Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for document services and printing, and submit trouble calls for DLA copier service contracts.
  • Manage the Activity’s Printing Program in conjunction with headquarters guidance, and handle printing projects drop-off and pick-up.
  • Assist with the issue, return, cleaning, and maintenance of training gear.
  • Track and review command fuel card logs to ensure charges match submitted logs.
  • Perform other assigned tasks based on emergent or unique requirements of the Learning Activity.
