About The Position

The Logistics Specialist (AWW) supports Pratt & Whitney’s production and sustainment operations by ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movement of materials throughout the supply chain. Operating under an Alternate Work Week schedule, this role provides critical off-shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operational continuity across shop floor logistics, materials replenishment, and distribution functions.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
Experience in logistics, materials handling, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Ability to work an Alternate Work Week schedule (e.g., 3x12 or 4x10 depending on site requirements).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Key coordination with PW material managers, spares and delivery assurance on material priorities.
Attendance on critical part/engine center or spares material calls.
Coordination with supporting distribution facility 3PL contacts on distribution processing.
Lead and coordinate communications back to internal stakeholders on transportation/distribution milestone events.
Maintain facility escalation listing and key focals.
Adherence to Quality, Regulatory and Global Trade process requirements.
Coordination with 3PL Control tower focals on material movements for internal and external networks.
Carrier/Transport coordination with our Transportation providers, TMS and Customs broker processes.
