About The Position

This role involves executing warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods. The Logistics Specialist will follow and ensure adherence to established procedures and guidelines for receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods in the warehouse. The position requires maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system, checking the quality of incoming goods, ensuring daily contact with suppliers, and participating in regular inventory control processes. The role also emphasizes adherence to ABB's core values, group safety and integrity standards, the ABB code of conduct, and relevant internal and statutory regulations. A strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks is essential. Collaboration with team members to maximize results for ABB, leading one's own development journey, and managing stakeholder relationships are key aspects of this position.

Advanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization.
Previous Supply Chain Experience
Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Advanced ability to use SAP.
Advanced ability to stay organized and meet deadlines on administrative duties.

Works with a sense of urgency and ownership; until the job is complete!
Must have minimum of 5 years experience.
Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, and implement data validation.
Needs to be familiar with the following formulas in Excel: VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, ADVANCED FILTERS .. all functions needed to manage tables, create, and export reports from SAP.
Self-control, focus, and the ability to work remotely are essential.
SAP knowledge is required.

Nice To Haves

Preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field with 6+ years relevant work experience in the following: Incoterms knowledge, customer experience success, project execution, and supply chain.
Will considered associate’s degree in Eng, or related field with 8+ years relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Ensures various warehousing operations, including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
Maintains complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
Checks the quality of incoming goods for storage.
Ensures daily contact with suppliers.
Participates in regular inventory control processes.
Demonstrates ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly.
Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
