About The Position

JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking qualified Sustainment/Pre-Production Logistics Specialists to support Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System (ERSS) and En-route Care System (ERCS) platforms at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will perform pre-production and sustainment operations to ensure all EXMED allowances have been filled, all material assigned to a specific EXMED platform has been stowed, and all kitted platforms remain in a ready for issue state.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in performing Pre-Production type operations including: Development and execution of planning pull, prepare, pre-label, and stow material; Efficient and effective execution of future production/kitting operations
  • Experience in performing material sustainment operations including: Assessing and replacing expiring/expired material; Kitting late arriving material after initial production/kitting operations have been completed; Identifying and resolving overages, shortfalls, etc. to sustain material in a constant ready for issue state
  • Experience operating various types of material handling equipment
  • Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods
  • Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods
  • Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and material handling techniques
  • Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material support
  • Understanding of Table of Allowances (TOA), Authorized Medical Allowance Lists (AMALs), and Authorized Dental Allowance Lists (ADALs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to use DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support), HIMS, or other authorized database of record for routine processes
  • Valid U.S. driver's license to drive stand-up and 4-6K forklifts
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to pass background investigation
  • Must complete required DoD/BUMED IT security training
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply reference materials such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, and orders
  • Ability to read and speak the English language with correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format
  • Proficiency in US standard office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems)
  • Strong ethical principles and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Light to moderate physical effort required
  • Walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items
  • Lifting and carrying items over 45 lbs
  • Work is performed on hard surfaces
  • Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government-granted security clearance.
  • Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

Responsibilities

  • Execute planning to pull, prepare, pre-label, and stow material for future production/kitting operations
  • Ensure all EXMED allowances for ERSS/ERCS platforms have been filled
  • Ensure all material assigned to a specific EXMED has been platform stowed together in the racking system
  • Support coordination with Government staff to pre-assign CEE material to EXMEDS
  • Ensure all kitted platforms remain in a ready for issue state
  • Remove and replace all expired material from shelves or kitted EXMEDS
  • Remove all excess material from platforms
  • Kit late arriving material after initial production/kitting operations have been completed
  • Identify and report overages, shortfalls, and discrepancies
  • Perform sustainment efforts including review, stock, and re-supply of medical logistics items
  • Perform inventory and documentation of supply stock utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record
  • Make adjustments to stock levels as directed
  • Support excess or unserviceable material disposal processes
  • Perform platform stowing of material by assigned EXMED platform
  • Perform re-warehousing of material in accordance with Government stow plans
  • Count types, quantities, and condition of items during annual inventories, location surveys, and physical inventory
  • Perform material examining and identifying
  • Perform quality control on transaction records and file documents appropriately
  • Research quality assurance messages utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record
  • Coordinate affected products/recalls with affected work centers
  • Review documents to ensure proper information has been included
  • Obtain missing information and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies
  • Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C) operations
  • Pack and repack a variety of items for kitting and shipping of EXMEDS utilizing a wide variety of standard packing materials, methods, and techniques
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Non-Tactical Vehicles and Equipment (NTVE)
  • Deliver medical equipment, supplies, and furniture within the warehouse and to outlying buildings
  • Perform word processing, data entry, and electronic mail transmission
  • Store, retrieve, and maintain electronic documents/files
  • Enter data into predefined spreadsheets or databases
