About The Position

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of parts, attachments, and equipment. This individual contributor role focuses on operational execution, high service levels, and warehouse safety, working closely with the Manager to support business priorities.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations (international and cross-border experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, customs clearance processes, and an aptitude for working with HTS Tariff codes.
  • Experience working with modern ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP Business One (SAP B1).
  • Valid forklift certification (or a strong willingness to obtain one promptly) paired with robust problem-solving abilities.
  • A highly organized approach to workload prioritization, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficient material flow and organized layouts.
  • Coordinate international inbound shipments (containers/air freight) from Europe, manage domestic shipping within Canada, and handle cross-border shipments to the U.S..
  • Partner directly with customs brokers and utilize HTS Tariff codes to identify optimization and savings opportunities while ensuring proper import/export documentation.
  • Coordinate directly with European factories and suppliers regarding shipment readiness, and collaborate with the Kärcher North America warehouse in New Jersey for distribution support.
  • Enforce strict health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the facility while partnering with internal Parts, Service, and Supply Chain teams to expedite critical orders.
