About The Position

A Logistics Team Member supporting the logistics, sales, and supply chain functions by coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and asset-based carriers to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of product. Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer-service orientation, professionalism, and strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
Positive, motivated, and accountable; demonstrates initiative, a desire to learn, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, basic math, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new processes, procedures, and business systems.
Ability to understand and follow food safety principles and basic food science concepts, as applicable to the role.

Nice To Haves

Inventory management experience.
Working knowledge of supply chain concepts, common obstacles, and practical solutions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
2–3 years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or transportation coordination experience.
Import/export logistics experience
Experience with carrier/3PL portals, appointment scheduling, and shipping documents

Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics personnel (3PLs) to release product and meet delivery requirements
Organize, schedule, and coordinate shipments
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations ensuring timely movement of goods
Plan and track product shipments, proactively communicating delays and exceptions
Identify, investigate, and assist in resolution of inventory discrepancies
Enter logistics orders and verify shipments in the ERP system (Deacom)
Arrange transportation in a time-sensitive and cost-effective manner
