About The Position

Grey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street), a leading small business provider of operational support services to Federal civilian and defense agencies, is seeking to hire a Logistics Specialist III to support our prospective client within the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA). CSOSA has multiple locations in Washington, DC, and this position will be performed on-site, full-time at one of their locations. This position is contingent upon the award.

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of experience performing logistic type services.
  • Experience in logistical support to a federal agency preferred.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office software and use of personal computers.
  • Operate a PC and phone in an office environment.
  • Perform some bending, light lifting, and carrying of equipment may be required.
  • Any additional office equipment that is required by the position.

Responsibilities

  • Providing the agency with Space Management Support, Inventory management of excess property, and coordination of on-site document destruction.
  • Planning, initiating, executing, and overseeing moves within the agency.
  • Maintaining records and logs of moves and modifications required in work areas.
  • Assisting with preparing cost estimates and budget tracking as it relates to moving services for CSOSA.
  • Preparing work orders, statements of work, or other documents to obtain materials, skilled labor, equipment, and funding for property management requirements, such as shredding services, moving and storage services, and other similar logistic requirements.
  • Working with the agency’s Office of Facilities staff to monitor performance of CSOSA contracts for logistic services such as moving/storage and shredding services.
  • Maintaining records and logs of property in storage, location of storage, costs associated with storage, and researching new storage space locations.
  • Scheduling, estimating costs, and managing on-site performance of moving services.
  • Inspecting work performed by contractors for various logistic services (such as moving, storage, and shredding services).
  • Reviewing invoices for logistic services performed by various contractors.
  • Assisting with physical inventories of CSOSA equipment and disposition of excess CSOSA property.
