Logistics Specialist II, Second Shift
About The Position
The Logistics Specialist II is a second-shift role supporting inbound receiving and the safe, timely movement of aerospace materials to factory work centers. The position works with Materials Management, Logistics, and Production teams, tracks deliveries from the dock to end users, and responds to internal customer questions. It also includes handling hazardous materials in accordance with EHS guidelines and applicable regulations, maintaining material-handling equipment, and keeping the work area clean and 5S compliant. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours per week. Employees receive a 10% shift differential in addition to base pay.
Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or warehousing role.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Experience supporting internal or external customers and coordinating with multiple teams.

- Experience in aerospace or automotive environments.
- Experience supporting new manufacturing operations or building processes where none existed before.
Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, and stage inbound materials for receiving.
- Operate forklifts, a company truck, and electric carts to deliver aerospace materials to factory work centers safely and on time.
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance on assigned material-handling equipment.
- Track inbound deliveries from the dock to the end user and respond promptly to internal customer questions about delivery status.
- Direct customers to the internal ticketing system and communicate clearly over email and Slack.
- Follow EHS guidelines and applicable regulations when handling hazardous materials, including reporting as required.
- Collaborate with Materials Management, Logistics, and Production teams to develop safe lifting and material movement practices.
- Suggest and implement process improvements, working independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant work area.
