About The Position

The Logistics Specialist II supports Relativity Space’s Supply Chain team by receiving and moving aerospace materials to factory work centers. The role combines safe handling and delivery of materials, customer communication, equipment operation, and collaboration with Materials Management, Logistics, and Production teams. It is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT, structured around a 50-hour workweek with 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week. Employees receive a 10% shift differential in addition to base pay.

Requirements

Valid California driver’s license.
At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or warehousing role.
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Experience supporting internal or external customers and coordinating with multiple teams.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace or automotive environments.
Experience supporting new manufacturing operations or building processes where none existed before.

Responsibilities

Unload, inspect, and stage inbound materials for receiving.
Operate forklifts, a company truck, and electric carts to deliver aerospace materials safely and on time to factory work centers.
Inspect and perform routine maintenance on assigned material handling equipment.
Track inbound deliveries from the dock to the end user and respond promptly to internal customer questions about delivery status.
Direct customers to the internal ticketing system and communicate clearly over email and Slack.
Follow EHS guidelines and applicable regulations when handling hazardous materials, including reporting as required.
Collaborate with Materials Management, Logistics, and Production teams to develop safe lifting and material movement practices.
Suggest and implement process improvements, working independently and as part of a team.
Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant work area.
