About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite position located at 1801 N Senate Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The role operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The specialist will facilitate requisitions, manage inventory, handle receiving, and contribute to projects. Key duties include ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, verifying product details (description, item number, quantity), inspecting products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging, and performing cycle counts and physical inventories efficiently. The role also involves coordinating product availability and delivery, including equipment, mail, and linen, while providing excellent customer service. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of aisles and storerooms is crucial. Proficiency in using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) for various activities is required. This position may involve on-call rotations and weekend coverage, and may require operating a company vehicle.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
  • Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred.
  • Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  • May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Performs cycle counts and physical inventories in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Coordinates the availability and delivery of products, to include equipment, mail and/or linen.
  • Ensures aisle/storeroom maintenance and cleanliness is constantly maintained.
  • Effectively utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to document all ordering, filling, stocking, tagging, and registering activity.
