About The Position

This position facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects, ensuring orders are filled timely and accurately. The role involves verifying product details, inspecting products for damage and expiration, and performing cycle counts and physical inventories. It also includes coordinating product and equipment delivery, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining storeroom cleanliness. The specialist will utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) for various activities. This role may require on-call rotation, weekend coverage, and operating a company vehicle.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
  • Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Warehouse experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred.
  • Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  • May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects.
  • Ensures orders are filled timely and accurately.
  • Verifies product by description, item number, and quantity.
  • Inspects products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging.
  • Performs cycle counts and physical inventories in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Coordinates the availability and delivery of products, to include equipment, mail and/or linen.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Ensures aisle/storeroom maintenance and cleanliness is constantly maintained.
  • Effectively utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to document all ordering, filling, stocking, tagging, and registering activity.
  • May require on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
  • May require operating a company vehicle.
