About The Position

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. This is a Full-Time, SCA position located in Huntsville, AL. No travel is expected. A Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of zero to one (0 - 1) years’ experience working within the area of unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management, administration and Army equipment calibration.
Possess knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
The individual must be familiar with AR 735-5 for the purposes of accountability and calibration.
The individual shall clearly demonstrate a thorough knowledge of AR 735-5. This regulation governs accountability, documentation, and coding of Army property.
The individual shall have a demonstrated knowledge of the Army calibration system and have a working understanding of current IT as applied to property accountability.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Army Regulations (AR) related to supply and logistics management, including AR 710-4 and AR 735-5.
Experience using automated property accountability systems, including Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A), ASTS, Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG), and customer’s property systems and document registers.
Desired proficient in the use of MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Manage Government-owned equipment, supplies, other property, and Government-owned or leased vehicles.
Assist the Division-level Logistics Specialist III with property management and maintenance tasks for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Test Division (ECE), which includes over 2,600 property items (valued at $24.5M) located throughout the test division’s campus.
Inventory management and physical inventory completion (monthly, quarterly and annually), calibration management (currently 758 items), including turn in of excess property, and property transfers.
Motor Pool operations, including both maintenance and load test functions, GSA-leased and RTC-owned vehicle management, new property receipt (barcode and add to property database), and receive shipments (both physically and electronically).
Use and maintain accurate records in information technology-based property accountability systems including Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), Defense Logistics Agency’s Federal Logistics (FEDLOG), Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS®), and in RTC property systems and document registers.
Serve as the POC for all computer and cell phone transactions and monthly logistics reports.
Communicate efficiently and effectively to facilitate timely supply and maintenance support, problem resolution, and satisfaction of information needs of others.
Proficient user of Microsoft’s Office 365 suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft’s SharePoint.
Other duties as assigned.
